There are many ways that we recall significant moments in life – one of the key ways in which we do this is through photography. The first permanent photograph was invented in 1822 and since then we’ve seen various types of cameras that allow us to capture moments in our lives – Polaroid, 35MM, and now Digital. In fact, the pictures you'll see here were taken with my new SmartPhone.

Photographic memories don’t just need to be about family occasions, or celebrations, or kids growing up – they can also be about capturing images that we find interesting or beautiful.

Rainbows


 


These picture was taken at my family’s campground during a recent camping trip.  It had rained periodically and during one of the brief storms there was quite a lot of sunlight and someone said “I bet there is a rainbow…” and sure enough – there were two!
